We are a small company who's principle has over 40 years experience in the prestige & classic motor market. Over the past 15 years we have been successfully importing Classic Porsche 911 (see www.fuchs.co.uk). Having recently relocated into brand new premises just 5 miles from the A1 north of Newark in Nottinghamshire, we decided to extend our activities to include the sourcing and resale of Mercedes Benz also – this in addition to our ‘regular’ vehicle stock.

We pride our ability to source genuine cars with proper provenance and histories, both modern and classic. Our experience ensures that we are able to identify such vehicles and we travel all over the country to view them, sadly we buy less than 10% of those cars we travel to see, as (especially with the classics) so often when we get there, the cars are simply not up to scratch and are beyond economical restoration and/or refurbishmnent.

Our premises are easy to find and we are only 20 minutes from the now re-franchised (National Express formerly GNER) London to Edinburgh main rail link at Newark North Gate. We are also only 40 minutes drive from Nottingham East Midlands Airport and we regularly meet prospective customers from both the railway station and the airport alike.

We always have around 20 cars available for sale, most of which are under cover, and although we are open always during normal working hours, we strongly recommend that prospective clients always TELEPHONE TO MAKE A VIEWING APPOINTMENT PRIOR TO ARRIVAL. This will simply ensure that someone is available to offer all the assistance and to answer any queries that may arise during viewing.

Before offering any car for sale, we conduct a thorough inspection. This takes place in the form of an initial 'walk round' followed by a detailed 'under-body' (ramp) in our workshops, an interior and ancillary equipment check and finally a thorough road-test to high speed.

Each car offered for sale has undergone this procedure and we welcome  independent professional inspections of any vehicle offered for sale.

We would respectfully request that any prospective buyer of our older vehicles always bear in mind that many of those cars are now over 20 (and some up to 40!) years old. Some of them therefore may have faults to non essential accessories and components. We will always mention these if we are aware of them – for example, slight oil leakages, worn (but not worn out) items, paint and interior fabric marks, etc. We will willingly supply estimates for the repair or replacement of any item however, the vehicles are offered for sale with any such minor defects as given that some of our cars are under £2000, we are unable to rectify or replace any such non essential items prior to resale. All our cars are in good, serviceable and safe condition with all essential / safety items being carefully inspected and where necessary rectified and/or replaced prior to being offered for sale.
